Collection Sketchin’ (VIRTUAL EVENT)

Friday, August 7, 2020, 12:30 AM

In the days before photography and printing, people captured the likeliness of the natural world around them through original illustrations. What if you could draw one yourself? Collection Sketchin’ explores elements of art and observation through the lens of scientific illustration. This virtual program series provides a behind-the-scenes introduction to MOSH collection objects. A MOSH artist will guide participants through live sketching sessions and you’ll have with the opportunity to ask questions along the way. Join us on a journey of scientific discovery as we investigate techniques from line to color using materials you can easily find at home!
